Dear Neighbors,
Welcome back to another update on the Mountain View Lot 12 project.
This week, we started delivering and installing rebar for our first mat foundation placement. The 1st mat foundation placement date is scheduled for May 5th and will begin at 12am consisting of approximately 2,000 cubic yards of concrete with finishing crews working into the late-afternoon as the concrete sets. Starting the placement early at 12am is typical for placements of this size in order to minimize disruption to vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the day. It also allows our team to safely bring nearly 200 concrete trucks to the site for delivery. Neighbors can expect to hear trucks, equipment, and crews throughout this full-day operation. The 2nd mat foundation placement is scheduled for the following week, and will be a similar operation. Next week will consist of more rebar deliveries and formwork installation as we prepare for both mat placements.
In addition, we have started our underground plumbing and electrical installation on the north side of the project and will continue to work on this throughout next week. Lastly, we are continuing our offsite storm drain and water utility work on California street. This will continue for the rest of the month of April. Please be cautious of slower traffic speeds and consider other traffic routes if possible.
Separately, many of you have reached out to us via the project’s contact page to inquire about leasing opportunities. Mountain View will open in Spring 2028.
