Construction Update: Week of 04/13/26

Dear Neighbors,
This week, we continued to layout and install underground plumbing and electrical pipes on the south side of the project, working towards the middle of the site. Carpenters started assembling formwork for the mat slab and installing vapor barrier. Both activities will continue into next week as part of the mat foundation. In addition, we started offsite storm drain and water utility work on California Street which will continue throughout the month of April. Please be cautious of slower traffic speeds and consider alternate traffic routes if possible.
Next week, we are delivering and installing rebar to prepare the site for the first concrete placement of the mat foundation, known as the first floor of the building, scheduled for the week of May 4th. Work for the placements will begin as early as 12am to allow sufficient time for the concrete to be placed, set, and finished by the end of the day as this process tends to be full day activity. Once the exact placement date is finalized, we will provide another update 24 hours in advance with details on what neighbors can expect. The exact placement date will be provided in next week’s blog.
