Construction Update: Week of 07/06/26

Dear Neighbors,
Welcome back to another update on the Mountain View Lot 12 project.
Wood framing is continuing to progress on the 2nd floor from the south side to the north side of the project. This week we started to install the wood floor joists for the 3rd floor of the south side of the project. We also started to install the structural steel on the north side of the 2nd floor, in preparation for the wood framing starting next week. Neighbors can expect to see wood panels being delivered and hoisted over the next 3 months. Weekend work should be expected throughout the month of July.
Tomorrow, 07/11, we will be installing the personnel hoist for the project starting at 6am. Neighbors can expect to see a mobile crane onsite assembling the hoist. The personnel hoist will allow workers to move materials and enter the building more efficiently and safely. In addition, PG&E will be working onsite starting at 9pm to install and hookup the projects temporary power transformer at the corner of Mercy Street & Bryant Street. Please be cautious of traffic control in this area while this work is being performed.
Lastly, we are continuing excavation for our dry utility work along Mercy Street. Please be cautious of slower traffic speeds and consider other traffic routes if possible.
